Grand River District - Parking Projects at Chalet Debonne Winery throughout Summer - Need Unit Participation

This came across my email and I thought I'd get the word out.

Scouters, Scoutleaders (Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturing) and Parents:

The Grand River District Committee is requesting each unit to volunteer to sign up and assist with the Parking events at the Grand River District at the Debonne Winery in Madison. A flyer is attached to this email note. We have events starting with the Balloon Rally on June 5 and 6 which we really need a lot of unit participation. The on June 28, July 12 & 26 and August 16 & 30 there is Jazz Festivals that we will need assistance with. If each unit could sign up for one event that would be a big help. Last year the District earned $ 11,000 for the district operating fund. The funds that we collect for these events are needed this year in that the United Way in all 5 counties of the Greater Western Reserve have been allocated less funds this year do to the hard times. That means the Council and Districts have to make these revenues up in other ways. Your help with these projects will be greatly appreciated.
