We are a member of the Arrowhead District of the Greater Western Reserve Council.
Effective May 1, 2009, all online Local Tour Permits will be accepted only through the Tour Permits system in MyScouting. The council's online tour permit system will be inactivated at that time (including the tourpermit@mail.bsa-gwrc.org e-mail address). A general overview of the new system through MyScouting is presented below. Instructions for creating and submitting tour permits through the new online Tour Permits system through MyScouting are attached to this e-mail. The council is allowing for a 30-day transition period so units will have time to become accustomed to the new system.

In development of the program for resident camp, we have tried to incorporate the 12 core values for Cub Scouting: Citizenship, Compassion, Cooperation, Courage, Faith, Health and Fitness, Honesty, Perseverance, Positive Attitude, Resourcefulness, Respect, and Responsibility. These values are based in developing character our Scouts. A single value or any combination may be addressed in the activities in which your Scout participates.
