GWRC will be holding BB Gun and Archery Training at the Council office on March 21st from 10 am to 1pm.

Anyone interested in re-certifying or being trained so they can run a range at a District or Council event please register with Penny at the office at ext. 12. It is extremely important to pre-register for these trainings due to all the wild weather swings we have been having. Training is limited to leaders 18 yrs and older with mature judgment and the ability to run a range.

Campership applications for the 2009 Summer Camping sesaon are available upon request. Due to market conditions, limited assistance will be available this year.

The Space Derby is similar to the Pinewood Derby or Raingutter Regatta except that the models are miniature 'rockets' -- propeller-driven and powered by two or three rubber bands -- that travel along a heavy monofilament fishing line.
